I always thought we have to be helpful towards everybody, no?
The other day a stranger dropped her coins on the floor while opening her purse,
I picked it up one by one for her while some others just act like they didn't see a thing?
Of cos, there were other strangers who helped too.
Monday, SMLJ saw someone dropped the card, then picked it up for that person even when he / she realized and was gonna bend down already.
Yesterday it was raining, I shared my umbrella with this angmoh even when she already took hers out and was gonna open it.
I just thought 'I can keep her dry till she successfully open her umbrella, no?'
And I can go on and on and on.
I'm not trying to boast how helpful I am.
I'm just gonna rant how disgusted I feel when people choose not to help me AT ALL.
Cos that feeling sucks.
When you need help.
ESPECIALLY FROM WOMEN.
LiLi went overseas, hence there's no one to supply small change for the whole week.
Hence we are really short of $10 notes etc.
I try bringing at least $100 everytime I work, and dunno is I suay or what.
It's always not enough.
People always go shopping with $100 note or $50 note, I dunno why -.-
So the other day I broke my $50 note with SUP.
I gotta say I appreciate the SA help even more now.
Cos whatever I experienced just now merely suck.
Same thing happened again, so I went into SUP.
The SA told me he don't think he has enough, but he still double check his cashbox, and showed me he really don't have enough $10 notes.
So I went to the left side of OSS, FEMALE SA, foreigner.
I don't know is it cos I'm too sensitive or what,
when I walked in, she greeted me with a smile.
But when I asked 'Sorry, but do you have small change to break my $50 note?'
Within a split second, her smile just dissolve off.
'Nope'
And she carried on talking to her friend.
ok fine.
So I walked out, saw the Castania guy, I asked if he has small change to break my $50 note.
He asked his friend, the friend shook his head.
ok fine too.
Then I went to the ice cream shop.
Same thing happened.
The female SA, smiled and me and I popped the same question again.
And I got back the exact same reaction.
wtf?
I'm baffled, really.
Thing is, they never even check their bloody cash box before rejecting me!
To add on, it is not funny to run around haji and entering shops with people outside staring at you.
ok in the end, the Castania guy saw my helpless expression,
he signalled to me, and took out his personal wallet telling me he has small change.
This is what I would do too.
If my cash box don't have, I'll actually check my personal wallet too.
MEH.
I don't know if it seems like i'm very petty.
But I just don't get why they can't even put up a proper act.
If you actually checked your cash box, I'd be very appreciative or even buy something from your shop later.
Of cos, I know they need small change for their own shops too.
But I don't expect this from them?
You can actually tell me 'We need the $10 notes so we can't break for you, sorry'
I'd accept it, I'd still be polite and thank you.
Oh and mind you, I am always polite.
All my friends can vouch for it, I may be vulgar, but I have manners.
Well all I know is, this will usually come from female SA.
males, they usually will just help.
it has always been this case, this is not the first time that i need help publicly.
and the ones who helped me were always the opposite gender.
i used to ask from the females first, after today, i think i won't anymore.
UGH.
perfect time for this gif.
ok la, i'm sick of complaining so i shall end my blog entry.
I LOVE SUP.
AND THE CASTANIA GUY FOR SAVING MY DAY.
and thankful for the understanding customer who waited.
SOMEMORE SHE WAS PREGNANT.
I felt damn bad for making her wait so long :(
so lele when you come back from china,
PLEASE STOCK UP THE CASH REGISTRY WITH SMALL CHANGE.
